If you are thinking of moving, it is not easy to find property for rent in California because it is the sixth state in the world for Gross Domestic Product and the cost of properties for rent  in California is 47% higher than the national average.

A room for rent ranges from $ 2,700 in the suburbs to $ 3400 for a property for rent  in the centre, for example in the Bay Area.

Because of this phenomenon the homeless are very numerous, in fact 1/5 live in California. The most expensive areas for properties for rent  in California are Silicon Valley and San José.  San Diego is a city on the Pacific coast . It offers a wide variety of properties for rent  in its neighbourhoods. Cortez Hill is the district with the most beautiful view of the city, here the most requested properties for rent  are the oldest, in Victorian style, but it also offers many more modern and recently built properties for rent. Little Italy is the neighbourhood with the cheapest, but also most spacious, properties for rent in San Diego  and the neighbourhood offers excellent cafés and restaurants. Tallmadge is further away from the centre, offering properties for rent ideal for families with low rents in the city. East Village offers  properties for rent in residential complexes.  Now it has become a popular area while in the past it was the district of storehouse and warehouse. Sunset Cliffs is the area closest to the sea but there are not many properties for rent here because it is rich in villas.

 

Los Angeles is the most populous city in California and it is also the second most populous city in the United States after New York. It is the coolest city in the USA, the one with the highest cost of living, with lots of traffic, high crime and air pollution, but it remains one of the most desired cities in the world. The city offers different types of properties for rent ranging from studios, to apartments, to villas, to independent houses. Palo Alto is not expensive  for properties for rent because it is located in the San Francisco Bay Area.

San Francisco is a popular destination for those looking for a property for rent in California. Its neighbourhoods are many and varied. Pasadena for example is great for families who want to take a property for rent thanks to excellent schools and more acceptable rents than many other districts of the city. Downtown is a more modern neighbourhood, well served by transportation, and together with Culver City they are developing neighbourhoods sought after by those looking for l properties for rent  in San Francisco at lower costs. Financial District, on the other hand, is more expensive and offers above all properties for rent in skyscrapers and it  is a district that is home to important companies and banks. Mission District is the oldest district of the city, the population is varied and unfortunately also has a high crime rate. Other interesting neighbourhoods to find properties for rent in San Francisco are North Beach, famous as San Francisco's Little Italy, then Castro, Haight-Ashbury and Fisherman's Wharf
